LG Shows Off IdeaPad Laptop Line

LG ahead of the CES show has announced a new line of IdeaPad PC's, Y650, Y550, and Y450 laptops. The Y650 features a 16-inch screen which is only an inch thick and the entire laptop weighs in around 5.6 pounds. The Y550 and Y450 have 15.6 inch and 14 inch screens, respectively. The Y650 will run you $1,199 with the Y550 and Y450 priced at $829 to start.

Then there is the ThinkPad W700ds which has a main 17-inch LCD screen, along with a 10.6-inch screen that slides out to the right from behind. The second screen can be angled in by about 30 degrees and can be useful to keep tabs on things running or a place to put spreadsheets. This laptop isn't cheap, coming in around $3,600 and weighs 11 pounds isn't too mobile either.
