Yahoo, trying to keep up with Google - has released a new online tool dubbed, Search Pad or otherwise known as an online notepad. The tool will allow people to save links, type notes, copy and paste information with ease and then share the information via e-mail if they desire.
One of the nice features of Search Pad is that it allows users to save links to sites as a user visits them and it appears in the upper-right hand corner of the search results. Therefore, you can mark pages and return to the notes at a later time.
Yahoo has a video demonstration of the new tool and how it works. They also have a page dedicated to Search Pad which has questions and answers about the tool and other information.
Yahoo's stock closed at 13 yesterday and was trading down to 12.94 in pre-market trading this morning. The search engine company has been trying to turn around from its downward trend and the new CEO Carol Bartz is doing everything possible to sway users back to the search engine who might have went to Google, Microsoft's, or other search engines as their primary online search.
