BlackBerry App World Store Unveiled

The BlackBerry App World or App Center as it previously was called, will soon be going live. The store will provide a place to download games, social networks, personal productivity application and much more.

BlackBerry Apps will range in price from free like in the Apple App Store to paid ones. The App World system exclusively uses PayPal for its payment processing which means you will be required to have a PayPal account (Register Here) in order to use the store.

BlackBerry owners will need an OS version of at least 4.2 to access the online store. Owners can go ahead and register now to be notified when the store opens to the public. They also have information for developers who want to get an early start on application creation. Be warned though, you have to pay a $200 fee to become a developer - ouch.
