Apple iPhone OS 3.0 Software Update Release Information

On March 17th, Apple will be holding an event at Apple Building 4 Town Hall starting at 10:00AM to unveil a new SDK and to allow invited people to get a peek at the new iPhone OS 3.0 software. So far we understand that the new 3.0 OS will feature MMS and also tethering via USB and Bluetooth.

Perhaps the new version will also include the ability to allow programs to run in the background and maybe a copy and paste function, come on Apple - it can't be too hard! I guess all of the jailbreakers will have to get back to work again, to get this new version broken.
