Samsung's Full HD 850 PAVV 1-Inch Thick Plasma TV

Samsung unveiled its new full HD 850 PAVV 50" Plasma television on Sunday which features a thickness of only 29mm or 1-inch. The new plasam is nearly 20% lighter and 40% more power efficient than previous generation Samsung plasma (PDP) televisions.

The new 1-inch plasma's come in both 50" and 58" models and come with DLNA support, USB 2.0 for images and video, and DivX compatibility.

There's no word yet on pricing or availability but we'd expect to see the new TV sometime next year.
