According to a Chinese forum, a user has gotten their hands on the new iPhone which is lacking some of the features that we originally thought would be included. The new iPhone will not be thinner like we had all hoped it would be. Instead, it uses the same body as the original iPhone 3G.
Below are some of the 'confirmed' features by the user:
The screenshot of the phone, shows it running the 3.0 OS Software that will soon be released by Apple. Also, like the iPhone 3G this new 3rd generation iPhone supports a 3.5-inch screen with a 480x320 resolution - nothing new here again.
One great thing about the new iPhone is the upgraded system RAM and processor. Instead of running a 400MHz CPU it will be running a 600MHz Samsung ARM processor and 256MB of RAM instead of the measly 128MB in the iPhone 3G.
I guess Apple is saving the new slimmer design, larger screen, and better resolution for the 4th generation iPhone?
