WolframAlpha Search Engine Live Launch Broadcast Today

Today will mark the day that the WolframAlpha Search Engine goes live. Beginning at 7PM CST on Friday May 15th, a live webcast will be conducted to bring the computational knowledge search engine online and functional for the entire public to use.

WolframAlpha is unlike other search engine because WolframAlpha answers questions or provides results on things that may have never been queried before and it does so by using its artificial intelligence system. You can throw questions like; "How many people live in a 20 mile radius of the Googleplex?" and it will provide you the data, demographics, maps, and other useful information.

We showed a full length discussion on WolframAlpha a few days ago that goes in depth of how the new search engine works.

The live broadcast of the launch will take place tonight at 7PM CST at Wolfram.com.

During the live broadcast you'll be able to go to WolframAlpha.com and begin using the new computational search engine.
