The crew of Space Shuttle Atlantis have been trying to return home since Friday but have been unable, due to weather conditions. The shuttle had four opportunities on Sunday to land, with the first landing waved off because of the same poor weather conditions that they've had for the past two days.
The second landing opportunity will be orbit 197 for both Edwards Air Force Base at 11:39AM and at Kennedy Space Center at 11:48AM. The final opportunity on Sunday will come at 1:17PM at Edwards. If the crew is unable to land on Sunday, they will have to wait until Monday morning for the next landing opportunity.
Space Shuttle Atlantis has been in space for 12 days and 19 hours so far, their mission has been extend two days due to being unable to land safely. During their STS-125 mission the crew performed five spacewalks to upgrade the Hubble Space Telescope, with great success.
