HTC Android Based oPhone Coming To China

Google Android has finally made its way to China and China Mobile will be the first carrier to provide the HTC with the Android based software in China.

China Mobile, the world's largest mobile carrier at over half a billion users, has joined forces with HTC to deliver the oPhone, based on HTC's Magic Smartphone with the Android OS loaded with the Chinese language.

Pricing of the new phone is expected to be around 5,000 yen or around $700 USD.

This could be a very popular phone in China allowing for both HTC to expand its sales this year as well as allowing Google's Android OS to become more widely used in place where populations thrive.

As for Apple's iPhone, there is still no China version of it on the table. We've heard rumors that the Chinese iPhone might make its way to the China this year but so far - we've see nothing.
