Apple's CEO Steve Jobs could make a surprise return to work next week at the WWDC where additional rumors say the third generation Apple iPhone may be released.
The Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC 2009) provides developers and IT professional with technical information and hands-on learning about the new technologies in the iPhone OS and Mac OSX from the engineers at Apple who created them.
A lot of analysts are expecting the new iPhone to be unveiled during this conference while others think it might actually be debuted in mid-July, just in time for iPhone 3G users to have the ability to upgrade under their contract.
At the beginning of 2009, Steve Jobs took a leave of absence from Apple to battle pancreatic cancer. Some believe that it's still too early for Jobs to return back to work after going through cancer treatments.
New iPhone or not, one thing that we will certainly see is the iPhone 3.0 OS which provides us existing iPhone users with many new upgrades and enhancements like copy-n-past, MMS, native landscape typing, and more.
All eyes will be on Apple next week, and we will be providing continuing coverage at WWDC next week. Follow our feed here or follow us on Twitter @TechFragments to receive all of our updates.
