At E3 today, Microsoft announced that Xbox Live is about to get more social by integrating Facebook and Twitter into your Xbox Live experience. In addition to Twitter and Facebook, Microsoft plans to integrate music streaming service Last.FM to give you the ultimate media center.
Once the new features are released, the Xbox Live will allow users to keep tabs on friends and listen to Internet radio without needing a computer.
Microsoft also announced plans on Monday of a new service coming to Xbox 360 users where they can obtain on-demand movies in the 1080p HD format. So there won't be any discs, no download time, and no wait.
The move by Microsoft comes as they seek to make the Xbox the centerpiece of your entertainment center.
Look for the Xbox Live update soon!
