Samsung at the CommunicAsia conference in Korea this week unveiled the Omnia Pro smartphone, also known as the Samsung B7610 Louvre. The Samsung Omnia Pro comes with a 3.5-inch WVGA AMOLED touch screen display and a sliding QWERTY keyboard.
For the operating system, the Samsung Omnia Pro B7320 is running Windows Mobile 6.1 with the ability to upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.5 once it’s available. The phone features a whopping 5.1-megapixel camera with autofocus and an LED flash.
So what powers such a device? A 800 MHz CPU and 1GB of internal memory. I can remember not too long ago, my desktop not having such specs. There’s also a 3.5 mm headset jack if you want to listen to your music in peace and an expandable microSDHC slot for expanding your music collection.
The Omnia Pro is also set to offer a GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi connectivity, TV Out, FM Radio, 720×480 pixel video capability and microUSB support.
When does the Samsung Omnia Pro B7610 come out? Nobody knows for sure at this point, but we’ve heard in August of 2009 – but again, that’s not official. Pricing is still not yet known.
